This session is going to cover our Collaborative Enhancement Project ‘Differing perceptions of Quality of Learning' led by University of Portsmouth which found that perceptions and preferences of teaching and learning through the pandemic varied considerably across students from different ethnic backgrounds. A particular focus will be on the lessons we learnt and the way forward regarding approaches that work for all student groups .
To share the findings of the aforementioned project that gathered evidence from undergraduate students of their perceptions of the quality of learning and teaching in the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a focus on how these perceptions differ by ethnicity
To offer the opportunity to the audience to understand differing student perceptions of the quality of learning and teaching in the current context
To enable staff to adjust mechanisms for engaging and teaching for the 2021/22 academic year.
To inform curriculum development for the academic year 2022/23.
To inform policy, notably institutional work related to Access and Participation Plans (APPs)
