With the transition to online delivery, student engagement remains a critical area of activity as does a focus on re-engaging with students who might, for a variety of reasons, have slipped behind or become dis-enfranchised with their studies, often as a result of circumstances beyond their control. This interactive session will introduce staff to the engagement and re-engagement resources created by the AcDev Team, and will run through the 5 core principles that AcDev have developed to guide opportunities for engagement and re-engagement, and signpost to useful resources including AdvanceHE's #52 Engagement Toolkit.

Identify key challenges around student engagement and re-engagement
Work through five key principles to guide engagement and re-engagement strategies
Share resources to help you engage and re-engage with students
