This session is going to demonstrate why module structure is important to the flow of learning and key elements of the learning environment that can help you lead the student through the materials.
There is an argument for “just doing” but often that will only take you so far. The importance of planning your materials and knowing how it will fit together will not only provide the students a framework for their learning but will also provide you with a space to get creative with ideas.
The tools that can help you to realise your vision will be discussed and demonstrated within the session and this will be expanded on through a best practice discussion activity in regards to designing learning resources.
Session Aims
The aims of this session are to:
Identify how to develop ideas to further enhance modules
Examine a range of options that can be used to achieve this
