The slides from the workshop are available to download here.
The launch workshop was for anyone interested in finding out more about the funding scheme. In the workshop, we covered: What is public involvement and why is it important; Introduction to this funding scheme and how to apply; Introduction to the Medical Research Council and what they fund. Public contributors attended the workshop, and researchers had the opportunity to discuss their topic ideas with public members, and think about how to communicate ideas in plain English.
