The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and CCPD have teamed up with Havant & South Downs College (HSDC) to provide free meals during exams.

The Coastal Kitchen Family, a family-run group of restaurants comprising Abarbistro, The Briny, The Tenth Hole and The Canteen, are excited to be a part of this community initiative.
Lucy Branson, co-founder of The CKF, says, “As a group founded on the value of community, we were thrilled to be identified as a sponsor for this project. Building strong connections with the next generation of chefs is our top priority. This initiative not only benefits the student community, but enables the chefs of tomorrow to gain experience in executing a busy operation.”

Have Dinner On Us - Heat & Eat!
In collaboration with Havant & South Downs College (HSDC), we will be offering UoP students a tasty takeaway meal for FREE from 5:00-6:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays in May and 5:00-5:30pm in June.
We are thrilled to announce that these meals are very generously sponsored by The Coastal Kitchen Family.
You will need to book via Eventbrite, so please read on below.
The meals will be available to takeaway from the Park Basement Café in Park Building, ready to reheat at your accommodation.
You'll have the option to book a meal or soup and choose from one of the timeslots available for you to collect your dinner (details on each Eventbrite page).
The food options will be cooked by the very talented hospitality apprentices from HSDC who have excellent culinary skills. We know you will really enjoy their delicious creations. The food will be packaged and labelled with ingredients, allergens and heating instructions so you really can, grab & go to reheat and enjoy ASAP!
We will also have some very special guests in attendance to hand you your meal.

Each Eventbrite page will provide the name of the daily dish and allergens.
Places are limited each day and tickets will sell out, so booking is essential!
All you need to do is:
Book a ticket through Eventbrite for your chosen timeslot. This is a requirement.
Arrive on time but not too early before your timeslot - thank you.
Bring your ticket and student card with you to claim your meal.
Grab your meal and takeaway to heat up at your accommodation.

Please note: The ticket booking link for each day will go live at 2pm the day before* you wish to book and the sale ends at 2pm on the day of the event. You'll have 24 hours to book!!
*Links for meals on a Monday will go live at 2pm on a Sunday.
Example 1: If you would like to book a meal for Monday 13th May, you will be able to book your ticket from 2pm on Sunday 12th May. You will have until 2pm on Monday 13th May to book.
Example 2: If you would like to book a meal for Tuesday 14th May, you will be able to book your ticket from 2pm on Monday 13th May. You will have until 2pm on Tuesday 14th May to book.
Please be mindful of your fellow students and try not to book a meal on a day that you cannot commit to attending - thank you.
