This Cycle:
In the upcoming cycles, students will learn about “los días de la semana” (the Days of the week) and “los meses del año” (the Months of the year).
They will also learn how to read and say "la fecha" (The date) by combining this new knowledge with what they already know about “los números” (the numbers).
The week (La Semana) begins with lunes (Monday).
The weekend (El fin de semana) runs from viernes (Friday afternoon) through domingo (Sunday).

Students were also briefly introduced to "los meses del año" (the months of the year), which will be our main focus during the next cycle.
Days and months are not capitalized in Spanish unless they start a sentence.
