About The Teacher

Hello PJPII families! I am so excited to begin my eighth year teaching 3rd grade and cannot wait to get started. My Catholic education began in St. Monica’s Elementary School and continued at Villa Maria Academy High School.  I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science in Early and Primary Teacher Education and received Pennsylvania teacher certification in the Pre-K – 4 content area.  As I am a forever student, I continued on and earned a Master’s of Education from Cabrini University and an Instructional II Reading Specialist Certificate (K-12).  Before coming to PJPII, I was an assistant teacher in Junior Kindergarten. When I am not engaged in my favorite activity – spending time with your third graders – I enjoy reading and relaxing on the beach! I look forward to meeting you and my new group of awesome, energetic third graders!

Mission For The Class

My mission for the year is to create a positive, peaceful classroom environment where children are inspired and motivated to learn.  As a class community, I want us to celebrate the gifts each and every child has been given.
