Second Grade Religion Saints Project
All Souls/All Saints Day
DUE TUESDAY NOVEMBER 4th
It is almost time for All Saints and All Souls day! Second grade will be doing a project on the saints to remember their lives and learn some history of the Catholic Church. Students will be randomly given a Saint in class. They will need to do research and gather information about their saint. Then students will be asked to create a poster and bring it in by November 4th at the latest.
The poster will have a cutout for the students head so that they will “become the saint” when they put their face in the poster. Examples of this are shown on the backside of this paper. They have the option of creating the saint's entire body or just the shoulders and above. They may create the saint by drawing, painting or cutting out paper and fabric. Be creative and have fun!
