This is my eleventh year at Pope John Paul II and my twentieth-fourth year of teaching. I am very excited to be teaching your children!
I grew up in Exton, the youngest of six children, and attended Saints Philip and James, Villa Maria Academy, and LaSalle University, where I received a BA in English Literature. After graduation, I worked in sales then went back to school and received a Masters of Education from West Chester University. I taught in the Downingtown Area School District for nearly eight years, spending seven of those years in fifth and sixth grades. My family and I moved to Morgantown, PA where I opened a registered Day Care that was in business for over ten years. I taught preschool for three years, was a teacher's aide in the Twin Valley School District and also taught there for two years. I was lucky enough to be hired for Pope John Paul II in 2015. I love the Catholic values that are a part of our days here at PJP. I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a caring community.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband, Cort, our two boys: C.W. and Sean, and our dogs: Tasha and Dakota. I love sports and grew up swimming competitively year round. I have run the Marine Corp Marathon and competed in triathlons. My race days are over for awhile though after having back surgery in May, 2017.
I look forward to getting to know and teach each one of your children. Thank you in advance for entrusting me with them.
