My Teaching Experience
While studying at Saint Joseph's University (2020-2024), I had the opportunity to observe and work in many different classrooms in both Philadelphia and nearby suburbs. These experiences taught me valuable strategies to support all students, honoring their unique learning needs, strengths, and cultural backgrounds.
I am currently completing my Master's in Special Education for grades PreK-12. This past summer, I had the opportunity to student teach where I gained valuable experience working with students with diverse learning needs. I look forward to bringing the strategies and methods I developed during this experience to PJPII, ensuring that all of my third grade students receive the support they need to thrive throughout the 2025-2026 school year!
Why Become a Teacher?
I grew up in a big family and, as the oldest, I often cared for my younger cousins. I loved creating fun, supportive activities for them and helping with homework, which sparked my passion for teaching. I'm a caring, organized, and patient person who loves seeing children grow, gain confidence, and get excited about learning. I can't wait to guide my third grade students as they explore new ideas and reach their full potential.
