Welcome to Language Arts class!

This is my second year teaching Language Arts at PJ23. I started teaching drama and music in 2019, and still direct musicals and teach summer drama classes outside of my classroom teaching. I love storytelling in all forms and am excited to help students tell their own stories. I believe that reading and writing give students tools to be successful, both in the classroom and beyond.

I am from Chicago and live in Lincoln Square with my dog, Gracie. I'm also currently finishing my master's in Secondary Education and Literacy. Outside of teaching, I work as a freelance musician, volunteer with an animal shelter, and ride horses!
