1983 Tamiya Brabham BT50 BMW Turbo RC Car
May 2021 - August 2021
I revived a 1983 Tamiya remote controlled car that was a replica for the Formula 1 Brabham BT50. I overhauled all the wiring and resoldered the old connections to the DC motor and AA battery pack with heat shrink covers for added protection. I integrated an Arduino microcontroller that is powered by a portable battery to communicate between the Beatz AM receiver and servo motors that control throttle and steering.
Python
July 2022
I have taken a great interest in electronics and programming where I have begun learning Python and have recently completed a couple of small projects that include web scraping, data management, and data cleaning.
Hovercraft Project
April 2022
I collaborated with a team of students to prototype a remote controlled hovercraft and compete against other teams. This was strictly a course project that heavily focused on the design process, physics verification, and simple manufacturing for prototypes. Our team placed 11th overall with exceptional performance in the endurance race.
