About me
About me
I am a researcher working at the interface of physics, biology, and bioengineering. I am interested in deciphering how physical & mechanical forces impact cell function and how cells use these forces to communicate with their environment, particularly in 3D. I use hydrogel design to create simple and controlled model environments in which I can interrogate how mechanical forces get transduced into other signalling pathways. I also use these hydrodgels to build 3D in vitro tissue mimics, both for disease models and tissue engineering applications. Many of my projects are related to skin mechanobiology.
I am currently working at the Macromolecular Engineering Laboratory at ETH Zurich.
