Biology & Antiracism Program: 21 studentsÂ
Research Presentations: students research published genomic data from populations around the world to challenge the concept of race and examine the underlying social justice implications using a historical and contemporary example of their choice.
Hands-on experimentation: Students engage with the methodology of obtaining and analyzing genomic data, similar to the aforementioned research studies, by performing a PCR-based genotyping assay for a Variable Nucleotide Tandem Repeat using their own DNA.
