The class worked on recording new theatre terms and used illustrations to define each term. They built trust and gained confidence by working on skits. 

In October, the focus was Halloween and they worked on skits with spooky themes such as A Ghostly Rap, Monsters Anonymous, and There’s A Werewolf in Town. The students discussed the difference between dialogue that involves two or more actors and a monologue with one actor speaking. The class wrote and performed original monster monologues.The class was also introduced to the art of voice-over. They also learned about the artists who worked on the film, A Nightmare Before Christmas.
