Republican Party
of Polk County Wisconsin

The following revised Constitution and related bylaws were formally adopted by the membership of the Republican Party of Polk County on February 4th, 2024.  These documents are now in full force.

The Constitution of the Republican Party of Polk County was updated in late 2023 to clarify roles of the Executive Committee Officers, establish policy for open meetings, and to better articulate the fact that the Party is ultimately controlled by its membership.  It also defines standing committees to distribute the workload of running the Party in an organized fashion.

We are very pleased with the results, which were adopted by the full Executive Committee, reviewed by Republican Party of Wisconsin Constitution Committee for compliance with the State Constitution, and will be presented to the full membership for ratification at the upcoming caucus on February 4th, 2024.

The Party Bylaws provide administrative policy to specify the implementation detail of the items specified in the Constitution. Unlike the Constitution, the Bylaws can be updated by the Executive Committee.
