Hey! I am Coach Bentley! I am one of the Physical Education teachers at Youngs Grove Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education degree from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Education in Health and Physical Education from the University of West Georgia.
The 2023-2024 school year will be my 17th year teaching Physical Education. I was born and raised in Cedartown, GA. I am married to Nicole, who is an assitant principal at West End Elementary. We have three children: Ella, Maddie, and Eli. I am the assistant tennis coach at Cedartown High School.
When I am not teaching, some of the hobbies I enjoy are spending time with my huge family and watching the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. I believe it is crucial to build relationships with students, as well as help students relate physical education to their everyday life!
Hello! My name is Hannah Belew, and I have been teaching at Youngs Grove Elementary School for 4 years. I attended Snead State Community College in Boaz, AL from 2014-2016 on a tennis scholarship. I graduated with my Associates in Exercise Science! After Snead, I attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL and graduated with my Bachelors in Health & Physical Education in 2018.
I started at YGES in February of 2019. I am so grateful that God has led me to this school and community. They are the best!
I got married in July 2020 and live in Lindale with my husband, Eric, our daughter, Hattie, and our dog, Moose. We attend Life Church in Rome, GA. I coach tennis at Rockmart and enjoy working out, drinking coffee, eating donuts, and hanging out with my friends and family :)
I love that I have the opportunity to relate physical activity, play, and exercise to all aspects of life! I am a firm believer that our health plays a huge impact on our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. So, get up and get moving!
