Course Overview
The high school world history course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events and themes in world history. Students begin with a study of the earliest civilizations worldwide and continue to examine major developments and themes in all regions of the world. The course culminates in a study of change and continuity and globalization at the beginning of the 21st century

Class Rules and Policies
· Be on time and in your seat by the time the bell rings
· No food or drinks except for water
· No cell phones or earbuds may be used unless I give specific permission
· Do not cheat or steal another's work and use it as your own
· Do not crowd near the door at the end of class
· Be responsible for yourself and your success in class
· Be respectful
· Work that is turned in late without a legitimate excuse will receive a grade of no higher than a 70.
Monday Enrichment Sessions
Honors students are required to attend a minimum of 2 enrichment sessions per semester. These sessions will take place on Mondays and will include further studies into a topic being discussed in class.
