I began my teaching career in 2016 in Memphis, TN. From 2016-2018, I taught 7th grade science at Memphis Rise Academy in Memphis, TN. In 2018, I joined the CMS family! Here, I taught 7th grade science and math for 4 years, and began teaching 7th and 8th grade math in 2023. I look forward to helping all students prepare for future math classes! My goal for each and every student is to make them feel respected, challenged, and confident that they are prepared for their future.
I grew up in Cedartown, and attended Cedartown Middle when it was a brand new school! I am married to John, who is an optometrist in Cedartown. We spent 4 years in Memphis, TN, while he was in optometry school, then moved back home to Cedartown to start our family. We have 3 daughters, Kaylie, Lizzie, & Phoebe. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, boating, and having fun!
