My name is Kortney Knott, and this is my eleventh year teaching at Cedartown High School. I currently teach World Literature and British Literature. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Young Harris College and my Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Kennesaw State University. I received my EdS degree in Secondary English Education with a Reading Endorsement from the University of West Georgia. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. I live in Cedartown, GA with my husband, Sergeant Brian Knott, and my two sons, Kolby and Vance.
I believe that everyone is a life-long learner. This is a philosophy that I practice in my classroom. I learn alongside my students every day.
