About Me:
My name is Amy Dingler. I am one of the 8th grade math teachers at Cedartown Middle School. I have previously taught in Rome City and Haralson County, but love being a Cedartown Bulldog! This will be my 21st year in the classroom. I graduated from University of West Georgia in 2007 with a degree in Special Education and Middle Grades Math. I also have a Masters degree from Walden University in 2019.
I am married to Stacy Dingler and we have a two children. Jaden is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Zarian is in the 11th grade. We have two dogs, a mini dachshund named Gizzie and a pit named Kieran. We also have two grandcats named Kenji and Mia.
I believe all students are capable of learning. They all do not learn at the same rate, but with different methods and strategies it is possible. Students should not be thought of as mindless individuals just waiting to be filled with knowledge by their teachers. Quite the opposite; students should be viewed as individuals who can contribute to the classroom, sharing and gaining knowledge from each other. My greatest capability is facilitating all styles of learners. All students can learn if the material is presented to them in an appropriate format. I truly enjoy working with each student in my class, and hope to be of assistance to any questions you may have.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions or concerns.
