Hi, my name is Kristi Ivie! This is my 15th year teaching exceptional students. I absolutely love my career and the students I work with. I feel this is where God wants me to be and I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these amazing children. Before coming to Polk School District, I worked for 11 years for the Georgia Department of Corrections as a Correctional Counselor. I have been married for 25 years to my husband Allen Ivie, who teaches the Automotive class at RHS. Allen and I have two boys, Tripp and Luke. Tripp will begin his first year teaching English at Villa Rica High School this Fall, and Luke attends Kennesaw State University. Our family attends Church at Victory Baptist here in Cedartown. I have been at Westside since the 2010-2011 school year, before that, I worked at Cherokee Elementary School.
