ABOUT ME...

It’s hard to believe another school year is beginning, and I am so pleased your child will be part of my classroom this year. I look forward to working with you as we strive together to assure your child a wonderful year rich with new learning experiences. First off, let me tell you about myself. My name is Kelly Arnold, and this is my nineteenth-year teaching.  I previously taught sixteen-years in Bartow County at Cloverleaf Elementary.  I am  starting my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade at Van Wert Elementary.  I have taught all grades K-3.

I received a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in 2002. I received a master’s degree in Brain Research: Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University in 2010. I have also earned my Gifted Endorsement. 

I have two beautiful boys, Hunter and Fischer. In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, spending time at our home away from home on Weiss Lake in Alabama, dirt track racing, and spending time with friends and family.
