Gifted Education
Hi, I'm Mrs. Gober! I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and my Master's degree in Mathematics Education from Walden University. I completed my gifted certification in 2010. I have been a teacher in Polk County since graduating from KSU in 2004. I taught 5th grade for nine years before transferring to the Gifted Education teaching position. We call it "PEP" in Polk County, which stands for Polk Enrichment Program.
I believe that school should be a safe, positive, and comfortable environment, even for students who struggle. We need to welcome students with smiles, love them, and encourage them. I LOVE Eastside Elementary and I LOVE teaching!
I am originally from Augusta, GA but have also lived in Myrtle Beach, SC and Homer, AK. I am married to Kelly Gober, who was born and raised in Rockmart. Some of my favorite things include board games, reading, watching movies, organizing, traveling, CrossFit, Pappasito's Cantina, ice cream, PB M&Ms, and iced coffee! I look forward to another wonderful year at EES!
