Dr. Dena Lumpkin

Hello! I am Dr. Dena Lumpkin, and I am the media specialist at Rockmart High School. In addition to my media center duties, I also teach the Dual Enrollment English classes through the Polk County College and Career Academy.  I am a lifelong resident of Rockmart and a proud graduate of Rockmart High School.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Shorter University, a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of West Georgia, a Master of Education degree in Educational Media from the University of South Alabama, and a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Northcentral University.  I am beginning my 32nd year in education this year.
