I am beginning my 18th year teaching school with Polk School District. I have been married to my husband Chad for 15 years. I am a very proud mommy to my beautiful babies, Bex (8) and Blakely (6).
I love being outdoors, playing sports, animals, and anything that involves being with my family. I love being with my husband and kids. I also spend a lot of my time with my sisters and parents.
I graduated from Cedartown High School in 2002. After high school I played basketball at Shorter College for 2 years, and then transferred to the University of West Georgia. I graduated from West Georgia in 2007. I continued my education at Nova Southeastern University where I graduated with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Specialist degree in Brainsmart teaching and learning.
My goals this year are to encourage your child to do their very best and to help them recognize their potential., and to create positive relationships with every child I work with. I believe hard work, encouragement, and positivity play a tremendous role in a successful education. I want to teach your child all I can about math, but I also want to be their cheerleader in life. Please let me know what I can do to help you or your family in any way. I look forward to getting to know everyone! We are going to have a great year!
