Brief Bio

Hello! My name is Chris Reaves and I am the Theatre Director and founder of The Red & Black Theatre Company at Cedartown High School. I am a strong believer that education prepares each and every individual for success. I received my B.S.Ed in Secondary Education from Jacksonville State University in 1995, my M.S. Ed from Grand Canyon University in 2008, and my M.A. in Theatre from the University of Houston in 2019. My wife, Alyson Reaves is also an educator here and is currently teaching our Life Skills class required for all Seniors. Our daughter graduated from CHS in 2023, so we are truly a "Bulldog Family".
