2024-2025 Kindergarten
Dear Kindergarten Parents:
I want to welcome your son/daughter to kindergarten. We will be learning many things, including reading, writing and basic math. One of my favorite sayings is: childhood is a journey, not a race! Promoting independence is very important in order to grow into successful 1st graders.
SNACK
Lunch and breakfast are provided for free but students must bring their own snack if they want one.
EXTRA CLOTHES
Please send an extra change of clothes to keep here at school, including underwear and socks. Please make sure the clothes you send are appropriate for the season. Unexpected things happen (milk spills, not getting to bathroom soon enough, etc) and it helps to have their own clothes on hand.
TRANSPORTATION
If you need to make a change for the way your child will be getting home please write it in your child’s agenda and contact the teacher via school status or call the school. This change must be made by 12:00.
PARENT-TEACHER COMMUNICATION
I will often write notes in your child’s folder. You can do this also as well or contact me via school status. Contact me any time you have any questions, concerns or just want to share about your child. You and I are partners in your child’s education!
I am looking forward to teaching and enriching your child’s learning experience this year! It is very important to build a strong foundation for their future learning!
Sincerely,
Kindergarten Teacher’s
