Philosophy Statement:
I believe that the classroom is a place for students to learn, feel valued, be supported, and feel safe. Each student brings a diverse perspective of the world around them. As a teacher, I am morally obligated to ensure each student finds their voice and becomes equipped with the tools they need to be successful. I see the classroom as a welcoming place for everyone, despite our differences. I believe every student in my classroom can make positive change, show respect to others, and use their academic and critical thinking skills to their ability. Every day, I strive to bring an open mind, a cheerful attitude, and high standards to the learning environment.
