Ms. Morgan

My name is Beth Morgan, and I have been teaching at Cherokee Elementary since 2003! I am married, and have one daughter.  I taught kindergarten for 14 years, and EIP Reading Intervention with kindergarten through third grade for 4 years, then worked with kindergarten, first and second grade in the Lexia Reading program. This year I am teaching EIP Reading with third and fourth grade! When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and our terrier x puppy, reading, listening to music, being outdoors, and bicycling.

Degrees and Certifications:

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I attended Jacksonville State University where I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I added a Reading Endorsement to my certification in May of 2016, and my ESOL Endorsement to my certification in May of 2022. and my Dyslexia Endorsement to my certification in May of 2023.
