About Me

Welcome to my page!  I am so glad you are here!  This is my 11th year to serve as Media Specialist at Westside.  I have been teaching and working here since 2005.  I love this place and working with everyone in the building.

I have been married to my husband, Michael, since 2004 and we have 2 daughters--Andrea and Mattie Rae.  When I am not at Westside or running my kids to their activities I love to read, paint, and watch Georgia football.  Go Dawgs!

I love reading and sharing my love for reading with everyone.  My favorite books are Redeeming Love, King Bidgood's in the Bathtub, and the Harry Potter series.  My goal at the end of each year is for all of our students to have found something they truly love to read and use their new knowledge from reading to expand their education.
