Teotihuacan

Ancient City of Pyramids. Located about 50 kilometers northeast of modern-day Mexico City, Teotihuacan was one of the largest urban centers in the ancient world. The current name, Teotihuacan, was given to it by the Aztecs and means “the place where the gods were created.” You can find the Avenue of the Dead, the Pyramid of the Moon, the Pyramid of the Sun, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent.
