Abstract Format

Please use the template provided and submit in .docx format as per the attachment.
Abstract writing can be in English.
Innovation Title:

a. Upper Case, Bold, Font 14 and Times New Roman.

a. Capitalize Each Word, Font 12 and Times New Roman.

a. The Number of Words Is 150 – 200.

b. Font Size: 12

c. Font Type: New Roman Times.

d. Single line spacing

a. Background

b. Problem Statement

c. Objectives

Innovation Poster Format

Each poster must adhere the following specifications:

a. Title of Innovation Product/ Project

b. Group Members/Organisation Name

c. Innovation Objective

d. Problem Statement

e. Implementation Level

f. Innovation Product/ Project Impact

g. Uses and Applications

h. Authenticity/ Novelty

i. Commercial Potential/ Commercialization/ Publishing Status

Each entry MUST submit ONE (1) video related to the innovation product/ project.
The videos should be between 3 to 5 minutes in length.
The innovation videos can be produced in English or Malay (with English subtitles).
The innovation videos must be uploaded in YouTube channel.
Please provide the link to your video on YouTube through the video submission form.
The Video Submission Form will only accept the YouTube link.
The Innovation video must include the following mandatory sections:

a. A recording session of group members’ presentation on innovative product/project.

b. The content of the presentation is relevant to the content of the innovation poster.

c. The demonstration session should present features of the product / innovation and methods of applying it.

d. Participants are limited to a maximum of 5 - 10 slides.

e. Please rename your video presentation with this format : PAPER ID_TITLE

The performance of the video will rely on the creativity demonstrated by the participants.

Only the top 10 groups from each competition category will be eligible to compete in the IBIEC 2024 pitching session.
The duration of the pitching session for each group is 3 minutes presentation and 7 minutes for Q&A session.
Participants are required to provide slides of the innovation presentation in Microsoft Power Point format.
The innovation product has to be original and is not a duplication of any existing ideas or systems.
The innovative product must have a safety design and features.
It is essential to affectively explain the functions and benefits of the innovation product during the presentation.
Participants should also elaborate on the level of implementation and marketability of the innovation product.
