BIOGRAPHY
I am currently a dedicated lecturer and researcher in the Civil Engineering Department at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis, where I also serve as the Head of the Center for Photogrammetry and Geospatial Information Research. My primary research focus is on the study of peatland landslide phenomena, specifically bog bursts, employing advanced photogrammetry and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies.
With a strong commitment to advancing knowledge and practical solutions in geospatial engineering, my work integrates sophisticated imaging and mapping techniques to analyze and predict land movements, aiming to mitigate risks and inform sustainable management strategies. I actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to push the boundaries of what is possible in civil and environmental engineering.
I am keen on connecting with fellow professionals who are interested in the applications of photogrammetry and GIS in environmental and civil engineering, as well as those passionate about sustainable engineering solutions. RESEARCH INTEREST
Photogrammetry and Spatial Data Analyst : Development and application of photogrammetric techniques and geospatial technologies for surveying, mapping, and spatial analysis
BIM Infrastructure : Utilizing BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and InfraWorks for efficient, accurate, and data-rich road design, including horizontal and vertical alignment, cross-sectional analysis, and 3D terrain modeling. This approach enhances collaboration, reduces design errors, and optimizes project workflows through real-time data integration
Geospatial Integration in BIM : Combining geospatial data with BIM models for accurate site analysis, terrain assessment, and environmental impact evaluation. This includes the use of LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry, and GIS for precise data acquisition
