Cybersafety

The internet is a wonderful place to find information but it is important to remember some rules. Here are some guidelines to follow to help you use the internet safely.

1. Don't sign up for anythng unless your parents have given permission.

2. If you are not sure about a website use 'Hector Protector' and ask someone who you trust about it.

3. Get your parents to check the terms and conditions before they sign you up.

4. Use your first name or a nickname on the computer.

5. Do not use your full name, address or phone number on the computer.

7. Talk about what you are doing online with your parents. They like to help you.

7. When you use a password please don't share it.

8. Check the website you want to use with your parents to see if it's OK with them.

9 . Stop and think before you do anything online.
