At Points of Origin, we believe supervision is more than a licensure requirement — it’s a transformative relationship that strengthens clinical skill, nurtures identity, and supports ethical, intentional practice. Our Clinical Supervision Pathway is designed for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPCAs) who are committed to building a meaningful and competent career in mental health care.

What We Offer & Who It's For...
We offer clinical supervision to both independently practicing LPCAs and those desiring case consultation. Our services are rooted in reflection, ethical alignment, and skill-building with licensed clinical supervisors who prioritize mentorship and growth.
Supervision includes:
Weekly individual or group supervision (virtual or hybrid formats)
Clinical case consultation, ethical discussion, and diagnostic review
Integration of raw clinical data (notes, recordings, observations)
Personalized feedback and support in treatment planning
Optional focus on identity, somatic work, and trauma-informed approaches
Who It’s For
Who It’s For
Provisionally licensed LPCAs in South Carolina and select surrounding states
Individuals seeking external supervision (Consultation & Mentorship).
LPCAs who are open to or actively pursuing a clinical contract with Points of Origin
Professionals aligned with holistic, decolonized, and identity-centered care

Individual Supervision:
(applies to individual supervision or sessions with three or fewer LPCAs present)
Group Supervision:
(applies to sessions with four or more LPCAs present)
Supervision Fee Waiver Option:
LPCAs who are contracted to provide clinical services within Points of Origin may be eligible for a full supervision fee waiver. Supervisees not currently contracted may still be considered for future openings and are encouraged to inquire about upcoming opportunities.
