This resource is designed to equip you with all the materials and guidance needed to effectively communicate the value and importance of public transit in Washington State. Inside this toolkit, you'll find a variety of resources tailored to help you engage with different audiences, create compelling content, and promote the Transit is Why effort.

Who Are We Trying to Reach?

The Transit is Why Campaign Toolkit aims to connect with two segments of our audiences: non-drivers and individuals with unmet travel needs, and drivers. Non-drivers, who already use transit or have relied on it in the past, face barriers that prevent them from fully utilizing public transportation. Drivers, on the other hand, might be on the fence about using transit more regularly but could be persuaded to learn more about transit due to the benefits it provides for themselves and their community.
