PHYSICS ELECTRONIC STRATEGIC INTERVENTION MATERIAL
PHYSICS ELECTRONIC STRATEGIC INTERVENTION MATERIAL
PHYSICS is a branch of Science, and ESIM is defined as Electronic Strategic Intervention Materials
(Physics Electronic Strategic Intervention Materials)
Biological Science students from Philippine Normal University North Luzon developed the Electronic Strategic Intervention Materials in Science, specifically in Physics, to minimize the identified least mastered competencies. This site is an educational classroom that can help learners and science teachers achieve the required learning competencies in Physics.
ASSURE Model-Based Electronic Strategic Intervention Materials (E-SIMs)
Learning, desired in high-quality education, is the aspect of improvement that denotes the modification of behavior, abilities, and knowledge resulting from practice and experience. The present study's generalizability will add significantly to the body of knowledge regarding students' accomplishments in physics seventh-to-tenth grade. Important findings may be particularly relevant to and helpful for the following:
Students. The developed E-SIMs may help them master the least-mastered competencies in seventh- to tenth-grade physics. It may also encourage students to become more responsible, to independently learn physics problems correctly, and to build or develop 21st-century skills while learning physics with the help of developed E-SIMs.
Teachers. As the ones who have a huge part in the teaching-learning process, this study would help them to reassert and focus more on their fields and subsequently cater to a better learning experience for students, especially for the teachers who would be teaching junior high school physics. The developed E-SIM might be helpful for them to have an easy way to teach physics subjects to junior high school students. Moreover, it can inspire them to design and produce their own E-SIM to meet the students' demands. It could also encourage them to utilize their inventiveness while designing E-SIMs to provide pupils with a stimulating learning environment.
The A is for the appellation, which means a name or title wherein the name and year level of identified learners’ characteristics and least mastered competencies in each topic of physics are here.
Next is S for the show, which means it shows the objectives of LMC and serves as a guide for learners in doing the next phase.
Another S is the synthesis, which means a plan or program until the end of E-SIM, in which the plan or program comprises the context and activities to be done by students.
Then, U is for the undertaking, which means a task that is taken on as it serves as an assessment of learners' understanding.
R stands for refining, which means to improve more, and it serves as an additional activity for checking if learners really have improved.
Lastly, E-Guide is online learning that will guide learners to more supplementary readings, videos, activities, and references used in the E-SIM.
