Redefining Tourism

Tourism TechGen Hackathon will create a futuristic and redefined definition of the Tourism industry. Tourism will no longer be limited to certain parts of the visitor journey but will expand to a more holistic and integrated concept. From the moment anyone books their ticket to visit the UAE to them landing at the airport, travelling to their accommodation and checking-in to their rooms, experiencing all of the UAE's cultural heritage to shopping in malls and attending events - how can this be improved and be better integrated? How can the redefined this is what the new meaning of Tourism is and we want you to shape it!

The Hackathon Journey is designed to teach you all the skills and frameworks to create your own ideas while being supported by expert coaches, mentors and industry experts. The 4-part journey will guide you in creating futuristic ideas that you will be proud of showing to the world.

The Hackathon Journey

Team Formation

You will be applying as an individual participant and will be assigned teams based on your skill set and personality. It will be a fun experience working and learning from like-minded peers!

Learn & Create

Your Hackathon Journey will kick off with 2 in-person exciting and learning filled Training Days in which you will be inspired and enhance your knowledge through talks and sessions led by expert facilitators, mentors and industry experts.

Refine

Following the training days you will have access to virtual office hours with expert coaches as you continue to refine your solutions and craft your story.

Showcase

The hackathon will conclude with a Pitch Day where you will showcase your solutions to an audience filled with key ecosystem partners, industry experts & fellow entrepreneurs.
