Overview

Startup Showcase is a in-person event where you can interact with all Plug and Play Japan partner companies. We will have startup pitch sessions and startup booths.

● Location：CITY HALL & GALLERY Gotanda 3F  

● Dress code:  business casual

Purpose:

▶︎To have contact with corporate partners outside of your own Vertical

▶︎To deepen corporate partners' understanding of products and services by trying products and watching demos on the spot

▶︎To exchange business cards with companies met at the booth and connect for future meetings

What to prepare

Corporate partners who watch the morning pitch will visit the booths of startups they are interested in during the afternoon. By touching and experiencing the products on the spot, corporate partners' understanding of the products will deepen, and they will be able to have a better idea of how to introduce them. We recommend that startups make the most of this opportunity by referring to the following page and preparing accordingly.

To streamline the meeting arrangements between selected startups and our corporate partners, we will be using the networking platform called “Brella”. Please see below for details regarding the purpose of Brella, what we ask from you, and important notes.

• Background

  • Brella is a matching platform designed to facilitate meeting scheduling and information sharing among event participants.

  • For the Startup Showcase of our Summer 2026 acceleration program, our Corporate Partners will use Brella to view startup profiles in advance and send meeting requests for the in-person event. We believe this will help create more meaningful and productive meetings.

  • Please have one representative from your company create an account and register using the link below: The person must be the one who is scheduled to attend the Startup Showcase.

• Important Notes

  • Only one account per startup is allowed. Please refrain from multiple registrations. Make sure your company representative is the one to register.

  • Meeting requests can only be initiated by corporate partners. Startups are asked not to send requests themselves.

Things provided at the venue：

• Table (W1800, D450, H720) & Round table（W900, H740-1400）

• Chairs (The number of chairs per booth will be announced soon)

• AC power supply

*Due to the limited number of power outlets in the booth area, priority will be given to those whose demo product requires power. Please understand this in advance. We will provide more details via an attendance form soon.

*Please make sure to bring your devices (laptop, mobile wifi, etc.) fully charged

• WiFi: Free Wifi is available in each room. *If you require a stable network environment, please bring your own portable WiFi.

What to Bring

• Business cards (as many as possible) *You will need a business card to sign in at reception. 

• Your Product (for SaaS, etc., we recommend that you bring a PC or monitor and conduct a demo.)

• Laptop charger

• Your company's PR materials, such as brochures

• Extension cords (if necessary)
