About Your Librarian
Hello! My name is Candice Curran, and I am the Librarian at Port Neches-Groves High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University in 2007. My Master of Library Science degree was completed at Sam Houston State University in 2017. I taught English II- English IV for eight years at two different high schools in Southeast Texas, Port Neches-Groves High School and Lumberton High School, and I am currently in my seventh year working as a high school librarian.
When it comes to reading, I love classic literature, historical fiction, and young adult literature. I enjoy reading anything from The Great Gatsby and Les Miserables to more contemporary literature like the Selection series or any John Green novel.
