A Bitmoji Classroom is a Google Slide you set up as a starting point for your students. You can add links, videos, and images to make the space look fun and also to simplify things for your classes and to connect with your students.

Click Addons in Slides and select Peardeck.

There all have free accounts and can be used for formative assessment as well as engagement.
Edpuzzle lets you embed questions directly into a video. Students needs to answer the question before the video continues. It integrates directly with Google Classroom so once your students are enrolled in your classroom you can automatically link them to Edpuzzle classes.
Kahoot is like a live trivia game but your questions can contain any content as well as images and videos. You can set up a challenge for your students to complete by a certain day and time. Students earn the most points by getting the correct answer in the least amount of time.
Quizlet allows you to create study sets or browse sets that were made by other teachers. Students can study terms and concepts in a variety of ways. You can also set up live games for students.
If your list of terms or concepts is in a Google Doc, you can copy it directly into Quizlet. If it is in a pdf file, you can open the pdf in Google Docs and copy from there.
Socrative is similar to Kahoot and Quizlet but you can create classroom and student logins to track student progress.
Flipgrid is a great way to have asynchronous discussions with your students. Especially at this time when we cannot always see our students face-to-face video connection is an asset. Videos can be recorded with the camera on or off, and complete with Flipgrid tools including text, emojis, and inking.
