Library Rules

To maintain a conducive environment for study and research, all library users are requested to observe the following rules:

Maintain Silence: Keep noise to a minimum and respect the study needs of others.
Handle Library Materials with Care: Do not mark, underline, fold pages, or damage library resources.
Food and Drinks Prohibited: Eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted inside the library.
Mobile Phones on Silent Mode: Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode to avoid disturbing other users.
Return Books on Time: Borrowed materials must be returned or renewed by the due date to ensure availability for all users.
Maintain Cleanliness: Help keep the library clean and organized by using waste bins and returning materials properly.
Use Library Resources Responsibly: Electronic resources, computers, and internet facilities should be used for academic and research purposes only.
Do Not Misplace Books: After consulting a book, leave it on the table instead of reshelving it yourself.
Respect Library Property: Any damage to library furniture, equipment, or resources may result in disciplinary action.
Personal Belongings: Users are responsible for their personal belongings. The library is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items.
Follow Library Staff Instructions: Users should comply with directions and guidelines issued by library staff.
Maintain Proper Conduct: Any behavior that disrupts the library environment may lead to suspension of library privileges.
Observe Copyright Regulations: Users must comply with copyright laws while photocopying, scanning, or using electronic resources.
Keep Study Areas Tidy: Please leave tables, chairs, and study spaces clean after use.

Library membership and use of library facilities imply acceptance of these rules. The Librarian reserves the right to modify library rules and regulations as required.
