SOCRATIC CIRCLES- More than 2,400 years ago Socrates, a philosopher, believed there was a more effective way of teaching students than lecturing. He believed that the ongoing, honest quest for information and understanding through the act of questioning that embodies the true ideal of democratic education (Copeland 2009). This is a guided discussion forum that can be tailored to meet any content areas needs.
VOCAROO- Vocaroo is a free website that records students. Their recordings can be uploaded to Google Classroom, Drive or emailed; using this tool helps students hear themselves speak and prepare writing for final drafts, record discussions or serve as an alternative to presenting in class.
