In Year Transfers

To apply for a school place once the Academic Year has started, you need to apply for an in year transfer via Essex County Council. You can do this by clicking on this link:

Please contact the School Admissions Officer, in the Academy Office, to see if there are spaces available in your child's year group. 

The process for an In Year Transfer:

• You should apply via the link above

• Essex County Council will then send the application form to the Academy

• We will inform Essex County Council if we can accommodate your child 

• Essex County Council will then write to you to confirm if your child has a space at Plumberow Primary Academy or not.

• If we can accommodate your child we will contact you first and then the current school, unless stated or asked otherwise. 

• You will then need to visit the school and have a meeting with Mr T Bottrill, Principal, or Miss N Newman, Vice-Principal. 

• At the meeting a start date will be set and an application pack will be given to you.

• On the first day, please bring your child to the Academy Office at 8.30am along with your completed application pack, your child's birth certificate and a proof of your address.
