About

Alonna Hall

Alonna Hall (She/Her) is a emerging African-American theatrical lighting designer, stage manager and performer that has been involved in theatre and the performing arts for over 10 years.

She began her theatrical journey as a actor at Graham Kapowsin High School where she was exposed to various elements of production such as carpentry and marketing. She has been in choir and participated in music since she was a child and that continued through high school. Although her career path was originally planned to go into Computer Science, theatre quickly took hold and Alonna began pursuing a career in arts directly out of high school.

Currently she is pursing a degree in Design and Technical Theatre and Musical Theatre Performance at Pacific Lutheran University. She's continued her learning through community theatre as a lighting designer and light board operator for the Lakewood Playhouse (a company she still works with to this day).

Lighting Design credits include Six: Teen Edition and Incorruptible (Lakewood Playhouse), Winter Dance Concert (Pacific Lutheran University), and An Evening With Anthony Roth Costanzo (The Glimmerglass Festival)

Performance credits include Jasper In Deadland as Osiris, Brutus and ensemble, Don’t Typecast Me! A Musical Revue as Jack Kelly and ensemble, and When You Wish, A Disney Revue as Megura (Pacific Lutheran University), and The Addams Family Musical as Fester (Graham Kapowsin High School).
