Required Information Survey
All passengers are required to complete the PLSD Bands London New Years Day Parade Required Information Survey no later than August 1, 2025. We need this information to complete the airline ticketing process, to plan for hotels, and to plan for meals.
Passports and UK ETA
All travelers must have a valid passport and United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorisation (UK ETA). You can obtain an UK ETA by clicking this link: Official UK ETA Website

Hi Everyone!
We are super excited for our trip to the London New Year's Day Parade!! Students are going to have an amazing experience performing and touring London!
We are going to hold a 30 minute virtual information meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2025, @ 7pm. During this meeting we will present:
- Medical Information (including info on Prescription Medications and Over the Counter Medications)
- Next steps for Flights and Hotel (including a survey that all passengers must complete)
- Passports & UK Electronic Travel Authorization
- Payments
- Tentative Itinerary

Parents and Travelers,
Due to the size of our traveling party (over 450 travelers!!) the tour company is unable to secure enough airline seats to get us to London on the original dates. Because of this we need to shift our itinerary by one day with the NEW TRAVEL DATES being December 28, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
Attached (PDF) is a letter from the travel company with details about the date change.
The travel company has offered to provide support for Land Only passengers who may have already booked airfare (letter has details and travel company contact information).
Please know that the travel company tried every variation possible before needing to go with revised travel dates (DEC 28-JAN 4).

Accounts and Airline Ticketing
We are getting super excited for our band’s performance in the London New Year’s Day Parade! The process of ticketing passengers for flights will begin in May 2025. In order for a traveler to be ticketed, your account must be current. Please make sure your account is current per the travel company payment schedule by the May 5, 2025 deadline. The travel company will not purchase airline tickets for accounts that are not up-to-date with payments. Thank you!
Cancellation Deadline (APRIL 28, 2025)
The cancellation deadline of APRIL 28, 2025 is quickly approaching. APRIL 28, 2025 is the last chance to cancel your London trip for a refund (Less $200 deposit). After APRIL 28, 2025, there are no refunds for the trip except those permitted under the travel insurance policy (attached PDF).

Passports and UK ETA
All travelers need a valid United States Passport and a United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorization to travel. It is imperative that you obtain these documents as soon as possible. Please see links below for more information. We will resend links to submit passport info for students in another email. Thank you!
If you hold a passport from another country (not a USA Passport) please check with your consulate or embassy for travel requirements to the United Kingdom. It is very likely that you will need to obtain a visa to travel to the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, band staff are not qualified to answer questions about visa needs for all of the various nationalities. Please consult your consulate, embassy, consular websites, etc. for needed information. Thank you!

All travelers need an approved United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorization (UK ETA) in order to enter the United Kingdom. You must have a valid passport to apply for the UK ETA. We will need a copy of each student’s UK ETA no later than June 1, 2025.

Refund Deadline
The last date any trip refunds (not including the $200 non-refundable deposit) will be issued is May 1, 2025. After May 1, 2025 all other refunds must fall under the conditions of the travel insurance policy included as part of the trip package. A copy of the travel insurance policy is attached to this email (PDF).

Non Refundable Deposit Due December 1, 2024
The non-refundable $200 London Trip Deposit is due December 1, 2024. Each individual traveler (student, chaperone and followers) needs to pay a deposit to reserve their individual spot.
Activation Email
Your activation email will come from “Destination Events.” The email address the activation will be sent from is mail@payments.youthmusic.org
Please check your Spam Folder and any other folders where junk mail is filtered to. Many travelers are locating the activation email in their Spam Folder.
