Ashland University - Book Study
The book study course on "ExSELent Teacher" by R. Keeth Matheny is designed to explore and implement the strategies outlined in the book to enhance teaching practices and promote student success. The course aims to engage educators in critical discussions and practical applications of the ExSEL (Excellence in Social Emotional Learning) framework as presented by Matheny.

1 Credit Hour Option
During the Innovation Conference, we will again be offering the opportunity to earn 1 semester hour of graduate credit for sharing the things you learn through social media. To sign up for the course - register at Bitly.com/PersonalizedCredit. (There is a fee for the college credit that you will need to pay) The cost is $169 per credit hour. You will have multiple choices for earning graduate credit through the use of Wakelet.

Teachers can also earn credit after the conference by applying their innovation conference experiences in their classrooms.
All tweets must use the hashtag #PLSDproud.
If this is the first course that you are taking through the Innovation Conference, then you will select the first course. If you did this last year and if you want to do this again this year then you will sign up for course number 2, and so on.
LPDC will only award .5 Semester Hours for each credit through Fresno University.
CEU Credit Instead of College Credit
After the conference, you need to submit a Professional Learning Activity for the Innovation Conference and link your certificate of attendance. Make sure your Certificate of Attendance is shared "anyone with the link." All you need to do to get the 4.75 contact hours is attend the entire conference and make sure you complete the exit slip during the conference.
