Student and Family Supports

Project REACH

Project REACH is a mental health capacity building initiative that works to promote positive mental health in children, youth, and families, and to support individuals in the community who interact with children and youth. Click here to find out more about what Project REACH has to offer our Prairie Land School Division students, schools and families.  We are happy to introduce Andrea Olsen, the facilitator this program for the Prairie Land Online Academy staff and students.  She can be contacted at andrea.olsen@plrd.ab.ca.

Family Resource Worker

Another wellness program that Prairie Land School Division offers is access to a Family Resource Worker. Our Family Resource Program provides a helping hand to students and their families, offering support for a wide spectrum of social, emotional and behavioral challenges. With a focus on creating a safe and healthy environment, our skilled team members possess the necessary counseling expertise to guide a child through any issue or concern that they may be facing. For more information on the program and how it can be of assistance please click here.

We would like to introduce Nadia Walker as the  Resource Worker for Prairie Land Online Academy.  She can be contacted at nadia.walker@plrd.ab.ca.
