Pompton Lakes High School Virtual Back to School Night
Each September, the faculty and staff at PLHS look forward to "Back-to-School Night," the first premier event of the year. With classes, activities, and sports typically in full swing, we love to perpetuate the positive momentum from the start of the year by providing a nice evening for our parents and guardians. We enjoy filling the auditorium and hallways with music, offering some refreshments, and, most importantly, strengthening our partnership with you by sharing information that will be conducive to our students' success during the year. It is always a great night. While the pandemic has precluded our getting together for Back-to-School Night this year, we still recognize the importance of sharing pertinent information with you regarding your children's classes. This information might include course requirements (that is, tests, quizzes, homework, projects, etc.), classroom rules and expectations, technology used, grading procedures, and teachers' availability and preferred means of communication. All of our teachers have shared such information throughout this site. Simply click on the applicable department and then click on a teacher's name to view a page that links to their shared course information. While we certainly miss seeing you in person we hope you find this informative and encourage you to reach out with any questions you may have.
